Chosen Charity for 2010-2011

             Help for Heroes
money raised by silent auction, bring and buy sales, and the cost of Christmas cards and Easter Eggs will be presented to a representative this summer 2011.We presented a cheque for £350.00 to Help for Heroes on Monday 20th June 2011. This money goes to help the servicemen. Money was also raised by sale of items  £175.00 which goes towards administration of the charity.







On 6th June we said farewell to Sam Funnell the Minister who is leaving to go to Folkestone. We had a vegetarian buffet and presented Sam with the book Around Chatham by Alan Bignell. It was published in 2002 and the review states 'Alan Bignell presents finely detailed period photos of the locality from the world famous Frances Frith archive' This is a book of photos of the Chatham, Gillingham and surrounding areas through the ages.


Last Years Charity was Blytheswood,
We raised money and donated knitted items.
